I love this page of drawings, Dave - it's the stuff that makes an old school dinosaur such as myself do a bit of a jig :-) That said, I'd like you to do something for me; in the space of one post, I'd like you to track the development of your idea from your source image to your concept; list the conceptual evolution, with an image for each stage - a trail of breadcrumbs, if you like - because, if you're going to break the brief, then you need to be absolutely clear about your methodology; don't make yourself vulnerable to accusations that you 'dodged the brief', which is harder to celebrate... so, one step followed by the next - make it all seem INEVITABLE.
